Chances Of Rain Across South Dakota To Start Week, 4th Of July

(Pierre, SD) — Possible showers and thunderstorms are likely to roll through South Dakota on Monday and into the holiday. Most chances of rain are likely to develop later in the day. The higher-risk area is generally near and north of Highway 14. A “Marginal Risk” for severe weather surrounds that to the south and east, including Sioux Falls and much of South Dakota south of I-90. Wind and hail will be the main concerns. Late-day storms may pop up across the state on the 4th of July, so make backup plans if necessary if you’re planning to do anything outdoors.
