Child Falls From Hotel Window

(Sioux Falls, SD) — More details are coming out after a one-year-old fell from a third-story window at a Sioux Falls hotel over the weekend. Sioux Falls Police say it happened at the Club House Hotel and Suites on Louise Avenue around 9 a.m. Saturday morning. The third floor is the top floor of the building. Police spokesman Sam Clemens shared nearby witnesses with medical training provided medical attention before the child was taken to an area hospital, adding the child had a pulse but was not responsive. A GoFundMe page set up for the child’s family says the toddler is currently in critical condition. Investigators are still trying to figure out how the young boy fell out of the hotel room window. The GoFundMe page has already reached nearly 50-thousand dollars in donations.
