(Sioux Falls, SD) — The skyline over Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls is looking a little different these days. Two huge cranes are now in place as the hospital undergoes a couple of major expansion projects. Sanford is adding a parking ramp and Gastrointestinal Clinic, replacing the old medical building, which was demolished. Sanford’s new orthopedic center will be the tallest building on the campus. It’s being built between the children’s hospital and the surgical tower. Sanford hopes to have the parking ramp and GI clinic open in about a year, and the Orthopedic hospital is scheduled to open fall of 2025.
