Critical Minerals Not Being Extracted In South Dakota

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Two South Dakota Mines professors are telling KELOLAND News that critical minerals aren’t being extracted in the state. The professors say deposits of lithium have been found in southern Black Hills and a massive range of manganese ore is spread throughout central and eastern South Dakota. A deposit of concentrated critical minerals was recently discovered in North Dakota.
