(Pierre, SD) — The Crow Creek Sioux Tribe is the latest to ban Governor Noem from their reservation. This decision was made unanimously yesterday by the tribal council. Council member Kyle Loudner says the ban is for her “derogatory remarks” about cartels and ghost dancers as well as allegedly ignoring their state of emergency that was put out. It’s now officially six tribes with land within South Dakota that have barred Noem this year. A committee with the Yankton Sioux Tribe has supported banning Noem, but it still has to come by a vote from the tribe’s general council.
