(Washington, DC) — A high school student in North Sioux City is headed to Washington, D.C. to compete in the Poetry Out Loud National Finals. Grace Powell is a junior at Dakota Valley High School and one of about 54 high school students across the country to compete for the national title. Semifinals start on Tuesday, May 9th, and the top nine finalists will advance to the final round on Wednesday, May 10th. The events are free and open to the public.
