(Sioux Falls, SD) — Dauby’s and Dakota Sports are merging under the same ownership. The two Sioux Falls businesses have been around since the 1930s. Owner Jerry Hauff says they both have actually been working closely together since the companies began. He added that as larger, national brands have started to try and compete in the Midwest market, the two sporting goods companies feel they’d find the best success working to grow their companies together. The merger won’t impact customers as they will continue operating normally.
