(Pierre, SD) — The hemp-related products delta-eight and delta-ten are going to be removed from South Dakota shelves come July. It’s because of a new law passed by the state legislature that’s aiming to crack down on the sales. These products aren’t classified as cannabis but have been deemed to still cause intoxication. However, THCA products still remain in the gray area if they will be involved in the removal. Violators could face both up to a year in jail and a two-thousand-dollar fine when the new law takes effect on July 1st.
