DOC Inmate Dies

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The South Dakota Department of Corrections says a state prison inmate has died. A notice was shared yesterday that 47-year-old Brian Gibbons passed away at a Sioux Falls hospital on Monday. He was serving a sentence for First-Degree Robbery from Brookings County. No further details about the man’s death have been released.
