(Rapid City, SD) — One South Dakota university aims to solve the state’s ongoing nursing shortage with a new program in Rapid City. Dakota Wesleyan University, partnering with Monument Health, announced the opening of the facility where students can take in-person classes to get real-life experience. There will only be 24 students in each class led by two professors and nursing professionals in an effort to make the program more personal. Enrollment is still open for next year’s class beginning in August.
