(Box Elder, SD) — B-1 Bombers from Ellsworth Air Force Base are now in Texas. The base had its first operations last week since the January 4th crash, sending an undisclosed number of planes down south to another base for training use. This move was made as the investigation continues into the bomber that crash-landed at night during inclement weather earlier this month. No one was hurt, but the plane was deemed a total loss. The Air Force has yet to say when the investigation might be finalized.
