(Madison, SD) — Moody County Deputy Sheriff Ken Prorok’s funeral is expected to draw in thousands of people on Thursday. Because of that, the location is now going to be in Madison at the Dakota State University Fieldhouse. There’s going to be a motorcade procession afterwards to a cemetery in Nunda. Prorok died in the line of duty last Friday after being hit by a car in a police chase on US Highway 34. The suspect allegedly responsible was charged with First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault earlier this week.
