(Madison, SD) — The funeral service for Moody County Deputy Sheriff Ken Prorok is in Madison today. A few thousand people are expected to attend at the Dakota State University Fieldhouse. Many of those attending will be law enforcement officers from all over coming to pay their respects. Prorok died in the line of duty last Friday after being hit by a car in a police chase on US Highway 34. The funeral starts at 1 p.m. and will go until around 2:30 p.m. with a motorcade procession afterwards to a cemetery in Nunda.
