Fatal Wrong-Way Crash Near Kadoka

(Kadoka, SD) — One person is dead after a head-on collision on I-90. Two vehicles were involved at mile marker one-34. According to authorities, a 2020 Hyundai Elantra was driving in the wrong direction going west in the eastbound lane Saturday night. Just before 10 p.m., the Hyundai collided head-on with a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country, and the wrong-way driver didn’t survive with a seatbelt on. Two people in the other vehicle were seriously hurt but are now recovering.
