(Pierre, SD) — Feeding South Dakota is going strong, helping families in need despite the recent winter weather. Volunteers have been working hard to fill several needs throughout the organization, including getting food to rural areas. Officials point to the mild start to winter this year before any of the heavy stuff hit that allowed for extra preparation. Christy Carr, COO for Feeding South Dakota, says the mission never stops to provide for every South Dakotan that counts on them in any conditions.
