(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency will open Disaster Recovery Centers in Lyon and Emmet Counties this week. FEMA says it will have specialists from the agency on hand as well as representatives from the Small Business Administration. This is in response to the homeowners and renters in eight Iowa counties who suffered flood and storm damage from June 16th and beyond. KUOO Radio says the Emmet County center will be in the gymnasium at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville. The Lyon County Disaster Recovery Center will be at the Forster Community Center in Rock Rapids.
