(Rapid City, SD) — Fire crews in Rapid City have their work cut out for them. Crews responded to three fires on Sunday in below-freezing temperatures. The first one was around 10 a.m. at an apartment on South Street, another was at a home on Kansas Street three hours later, and the third was at a residence on 6th Street around 5:30 p.m. The temperature during that time ranged from negative eleven to negative six degrees. All residents were able to get out safely. The causes of the fires are under investigation.
