Four CTE Programs Receive Major Funding

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Four South Dakota Career and Technical Education programs are getting a big boost from the state. The South Dakota Department of Education awarded three-point-eight million dollars in grants yesterday. This is coming from a five-million-dollar senate bill the state legislature passed last year. Sioux Falls CTE Academy, Northeast Technical High School, the Huron School District, and Willow Lake are all beneficiaries. The funding is part of an effort to fuel the workforce in South Dakota and help build careers.
