Four People Arrested In Connection To 2022 Sioux Falls Homicide

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Four young men are now facing charges in connection with the death of 36-year-old Tunis Lomax in Sioux Falls, according to city police. The suspects, who range in age from 18 to 20, made their first court appearances Wednesday. It was August of 2022 when officers found Lomax dead outside his apartment on the east side of Sioux Falls. The man facing the most serious charges of first-degree murder, Salim Mohamed, was just 17-years-old. Officials say the next step is finding motive and piecing together more of the details on the night Tunis was murdered.
