Frost Arena Bids Farewell At SDSU

(Brookings, SD) — Saturday will mark the end of a half-century era at South Dakota State University. The final sporting event will be played at Frost Arena — the Jackrabbits’ home for several sports since 1973. SDSU women’s basketball will play host to North Dakota State. The building won’t be torn down, but it’s set to be completely gutted in a 53-million-dollar renovation project this summer. SDSU plans to open the newly named First Bank and Trust Arena this fall after the sponsor donated 20 million to the project.
