(Madison, SD) — Friends, family, community members and law enforcement officers from across the area and the country are honoring Moody County Chief Deputy Ken Prorok. The fallen officer’s funeral was held in Madison yesterday, drawing thousands. Governor Kristi Noem and State Representative Dusty Johnson were also in attendance. Prorok was described as compassionate, kind and selfless by many. He died in the line of duty last Friday after being hit by a car in a police chase on US Highway 34.
