(Pierre, SD) — There’s a new leader of the South Dakota Highway Patrol. Governor Noem has appointed Captain Casey Collins as the new superintendent. His new gig is effective January 22nd. Noem says Collins “brings a wealth of experience and is well-positioned to lead the SDHP into its next chapter.” He succeeds Colonel Rick Miller, who retired.
