Gov. Noem Opposes Changes To LLPA

(Pierre, SD) — Governor Kristi Noem is speaking out against mandated changes to the federal loan level pricing adjustment. She, and 17 fellow Republican governors, wrote a letter to President Biden and Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Sandra Thompson, saying the new LLPA framework threatens the American housing system and upsets the current financial model that is based on individual responsibility. Noem said, “As governors, we promote hard work, accountability, fairness, and opportunity for all our citizens,” and “the LLPA mandates blatantly contradict these goals.”
