(Pierre, SD) — Governor Noem is defending her new book again after another national news appearance. The Republican had an interview with News Nations’ Chris Cuomo that got a bit testy. Noem dismissed claims of hiring ‘ghost writers’ for her books. She was also asked about a meeting with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un she wrote about in the original version of the book that has since been removed. Noem deflected, saying, “The American people do not care” about the sentence being pulled and “What they care about is what’s happening to their life.” Noem went on to tell Cuomo that gas prices, the southern border or the trials involving former President Trump and Hunter Biden are more important topics of discussion.
