Gov. Noem Talks Trump VP Opening On FOX News

(Pierre, SD) — Governor Kristi Noem is sharing her vision of what former President Donald Trump needs in a vice president as he bids for a second term at the White House. Noem appeared on Fox and Friends Thursday, telling host Lawrence Jones that Trump “needs somebody who has been a commander in chief; somebody who makes decisions when things get tough.” South Dakota’s governor was just confirmed to be on Trump’s shortlist of VP candidates this week. Noem’s director of communications, Ian Fury, took to social media after Thursday’s FOX interview, backing her comments and that Noem checks all of the boxes she talked about to be vice president.
