Governor Noem Fills One Of Two Vacant House Seats

(Pierre, SD) — Former lawmaker Kristin Conzet is going to fill one of two vacant seats in the South Dakota government. Governor Noem appointed her on Saturday after advice from the State Supreme Court to jump on filling the vacancies. The 53-year-old Conzet of Rapid City now joins the House for the second time. Governor Noem still hasn’t made a decision on the open Senate seat that’s been open since Jessica Castleberry resigned after misusing COVID relief funds last August.
