Governor Noem Focused On South Dakota, Hints At No Presidential Bid

(Pierre, SD) — Governor Noem says she’s focused on South Dakota and isn’t considering a presidential bid at this time. She joined KWAT, a Watertown-based radio station, Monday morning to talk about government-related topics happening in the state. Noem was asked about North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum announcing his presidential bid earlier this month and responded that her priority is South Dakota rather than making a run paralleled to Burgum. She added there’s no decision on endorsing a current GOP presidential candidate but believes former President Donald Trump is the only real path to the White House.
