(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Great Bear Ski Valley is set to kick off the season this week. Passholders get to have early access this Thursday. Then, the hill will be open to the general public the next day on Friday. The fun gets underway at 3 p.m. on Thursday with the park opening to the public on Friday at noon. Great Bear says capacity will be limited and day tickets must be bought online beforehand. It’s also possible that tubing opens by the holiday break depending on the weather.
