Hailstorm Smacks Pierre, Fort Pierre Tuesday

(Pierre, SD) — Folks in the Pierre and Fort Pierre are sharing photos of golf ball, baseball and even softball-sized hail that smacked the area Tuesday evening. A land spout developed just south of Fort Pierre near Highway 83. More storms swept through most of central South Dakota. Tuesday’s hailstorm continued southeast toward the Chamberlain.
