Henry’s Run Helps Spread Awareness For Child Abuse Prevention

(Hartford, SD) — South Dakotans are spreading awareness about child abuse with Henry’s run. Community members gathered in Sioux Falls Saturday for the 5k run or walk. The event was created after a toddler suffered shaken baby syndrome at the hands of a daycare provider sixteen years ago. All proceeds from the run go towards Sanford Children’s Child’s Voice program, an advocacy center for children. This is the 11th year the run has taken place.
