(Undated) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol announced they will be conducting sobriety checkpoints in 14 counties throughout the month of October. The goal is to deter impaired driving and emphasize that it’s a dangerous choice whether or not a checkpoint is in the area. Checkpoints will be carried out by the Highway Patrol and other law enforcement agencies. The list of the impacted counties can be found at news-dot-sd-dot-gov.
