Honors For Vietnam War Veterans Continue In South Dakota

(Piedmont, SD) — Honors for Vietnam War veterans are continuing in South Dakota. South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson presented 20 veterans with Vietnam War era pins during a ceremony in Piedmont on Friday. The honor is intended to show respect the veterans’ service during the Vietnam era, something Johnson says wasn’t done at the time. This year marks 50 years since the United States exited the Vietnam conflict.
