(Fort Pierre, SD) — Two people are dead after a house explosion southeast of Fort Pierre on Wednesday. It happened in the Antelope Creek area off of Highway 1806 yesterday afternoon. Reports say the house is flattened and the explosion sent debris flying 50-to-a-hundred yards in all directions. Stanley County Sheriff Brad Rathbun confirms one adult died and the second person is unclear, while three other people were taken to Avera St. Mary’s in Pierre including a man and two children.
