(Big Stone Co., SD) — Big Stone County sheriff’s officials are reminding folks that no ice is ever completely safe to cross. This after an ice house fell through the ice on Big Stone Lake, near Rustling Elms Resort. Officials say a vehicle attempted to cross a heave and broke the ice. Three men were able to escape before the vehicle and the ice house it was pulling plunged into the water.
