(Eagle Butte, SD) — An investigation is underway into the death of a child in Eagle Butte from a possible dog attack. The child was found near a bike on Saturday with injuries that could have been from a feral dog attack, according to the Cheyenne River Tribal Police. Investigators have scheduled an autopsy to determine exactly what happened. Police say, in the meantime, Animal Control will be patrolling and picking up animals not tied up, leashed or in a fence.
