(Tea, SD) — An investigation is underway after a deadly shooting in Tea. According to the Tea Police Department, the shooting happened just before noon on Monday. Authorities responded to the 2200 block of North Carla Avenue. A man was found with a gunshot wound but did not survive after receiving medical attention. 59-year-old Timothy Overton has been identified by authorities as a suspect in an aggravated assault that happened prior to the shooting. He is currently being held without bond. No further details have been released about the victim.
