Iowa State Cruises By South Dakota State Men In NCAA Tournament

(Omaha, NE) — There will be no Cinderella run for South Dakota State men’s basketball. Number Two Iowa State cruised past 15th-seeded SDSU, 82-65, in round one of the NCAA men’s tournament from Omaha. Zeke Mayo led the Jackrabbits with 19 points. William Kyle the Third sunk 14 and grabbed seven rebounds as the Jacks finished their season 22-and-13. The SDSU women arrived in Spokane yesterday as the 12th seed for their first-round matchup against Number Five Utah tomorrow night.
