Lake Alvin UTV Crash Victim Identified

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The 87-year-old man who died in a UTV crash last weekend near Lake Alvin is being identified as Merlyn Rennich. The DPS says Rennich died just after 2 p.m. Saturday when his UTV flipped backward on 480th Avenue, which was closed at the time because of flooding. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
