(Pierre, SD) — State lawmakers are going spend a few hours today reviewing Governor Noem’s ‘Freedom Works Here’ campaign. It’s her multi-million dollar program created in an effort to attract more workers to South Dakota. ‘Freedom Works Here’ started nationwide in June with TV ads and social media commercials featuring Noem as different kinds of workers. The Executive Board for the Legislative Research Council is required to provide “legislative oversight and management analysis of the executive branch” by state law. The Governor’s Office has paid more than six-point-five million dollars for the campaign.
