Lewis And Clark Repays $1-Million To State of South Dakota

(Pierre, SD) — Lewis and Clark Regional Water System is repaying one-million dollars to the state after a “federal funding advance” was approved nearly 10 years ago. Troy Larson, executive director for Lewis and Clark, says the money was well-spent on helping water development in Madison. The city has been able to access up to one-million gallons of water per day since May 2017. Governor Noem is providing another 15-million dollars to help Lewis and Clark continue its expansion in the state.
