(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Great Plains Zoo is welcoming a lion pair to its upcoming exhibit. Zoo officials say a 10-year-old female lion named Amahle arrived in Sioux Falls this past week. While, a 15-year-old male lion named Simba, arrived from the Detroit Zoo a couple weeks ago. The zoo is currently quarantining the pair to get them acclimated to exhibit before it opens this summer.
