(Mitchell, SD) — It’s the end of an era for a family-owned theater in Mitchell. Today marks the final day the Luxury Five Cinemas will be run by Logan Luxury Theaters. The theater has been acquired by Minnesota-based Odyssey Theaters and will re-open on Friday as Odyssey Luxury Five Cinemas. The Logan family had been running theaters in Mitchell since 1933 when the Roxy Theater was built.
