(Sioux Falls, SD) — A man from Sioux Falls is behind bars after being charged with attempted murder. According to court documents, 59-year-old John Buckly Mitchell is accused of assaulting a 49-year-old woman. After being admitted to a hospital, the victim reportedly told her family that Mitchell strangled her and threatened to kill her. The woman is currently in critical condition. Mitchell’s arraignment is scheduled for Friday.
