(Rapid City, SD) — A man is now behind bars after allegedly shooting a woman in Rapid City over the weekend. It happened Friday night on Lacrosse Street on the city’s north side where responding officers found the woman with a gunshot in her arm. She was taken to the hospital. Investigators identified the suspect as 30-year-old Luke Eagle Star Jr. of Rapid City after interviewing witnesses. He was wearing an ankle monitor, which helped police locate and arrest him. The woman’s condition has not been shared yet.
