(Kampeska Township, SD) — South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a crash Codington County that claimed the life of a Watertown man over the weekend. The single-vehicle crash happened Saturday morning in Kampeska Township, about 12 miles southwest of Watertown. Highway Patrol says a westbound Ford Escape on 175th Street went off the road and rolled into a deep patch of mud. The driver, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
