Man Sentenced For Sex Crimes During Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

(Sturgis, SD) — A man is going to federal prison guilty of sex crimes during last year’s Sturgis motorcycle rally. Benjamin Moore has been sentenced to four years and four months over his child pornography and amber alert case. He was also given five years of supervised release and must register as a sex offender. Moore illegally crossed the U.S. border near Turner, Montana with a woman and children on August 3rd, according to court documents. He was reported six days later while working as a security guard at a campground east of Sturgis during the motorcycle rally.
