(Sioux Falls, SD) — A man is in the hospital after an officer-involved shooting in northwestern Sioux Falls yesterday. The man was allegedly threatening officers with a knife. It happened in the area of North Career Avenue and Cayman Street, drawing a large police presence. Sioux Falls Police used less-lethal attempts to stop the suspect but were unsuccessful and resorted to firing a gun to stop the threat. The suspect was given first aid on the scene and taken to a hospital. There were no other injuries reported.
