Man To Plead Guilty In Multi-State Drug Conspiracy

(Sioux Falls, SD) — A Sioux Falls man is planning to plead guilty for his role in a multi-state drug and money laundering conspiracy. Court documents filed Monday say 37-year-old Donavon Pinkston made a plea agreement deal with federal prosecutors. He’s allegedly one of 24 people charged in the case after he was arrested last summer in Sioux Falls. Police reportedly found a pound of meth in his pickup truck and Pinkston claimed he didn’t know the drugs were there. A sentencing date has not been set.
