Millions Visit Black Hills Monuments Each Year

(Rapid City, SD) — A recent study shows that Black Hills monuments draw millions of visitors each year. USnews-dot-com reports that three-point-six million people visited western South Dakota in 2021. The report says an average of over two million people visit Mount Rushmore each year. The Crazy Horse Memorial brings in an average of one-and-a-half million visitors annually. The memorial is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.
