Minnehaha And Lincoln Counties Dealing With More Court Cases

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The court system in Minnehaha and Lincoln counties is dealing with a rise in divorce and juvenile cases. Officials gave on update Tuesday, saying they’re in need of more judges and courtrooms to deal with the growing caseload. More details are expected to be revealed during budget talks this summer. Meantime, Minnehaha County is adding one new Magistrate Judge, bringing the total amount in the Second Judicial Circuit to 17.
